Everything you need to know about turning one video into a hundred.

The basics

Salvo turns one long-form video into dozens of short, vertical clips. It finds the strongest moments, edits them, scores how likely each one is to perform, tests alternative hooks, and schedules the winners across your accounts.

Anyone who turns video into posts. Creators and podcasters clipping their own shows, editors cutting for clients, and clippers cutting for the streamers they work with. Bring the footage and Salvo handles the clipping, scoring and scheduling.

Anything with people talking: podcasts, interviews, livestreams, webinars, talks and long YouTube videos. The more there is to work with, the more clips you get back.

Yes. Paste a link to any long-form recording, or upload the file directly.

Yes. The clip library has ready-to-post templates and formats you can customise, and the series builder can turn a single topic into an ongoing run of posts.

Clips and scoring

Each clip gets a score from 0 to 100 based on its hook, pacing, length and topic. Every score comes with a plain explanation of what makes the clip strong or weak, so you know what to fix.

Salvo writes alternative opening lines for a clip and posts them as an A/B test. When the test ends, it picks the version with the best early retention and click-through, and you can apply it with one click.

Yes. The clip editor lets you trim, change the hook and title, and pick a caption style before anything goes out.

Posting

TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels publish automatically. Facebook, X and LinkedIn are in beta. Snapchat auto-posting is in progress; for now Salvo prepares the video and caption and you post it yourself.

Yes, for example your main channel and a clips channel. Schedule to each from one board.
